Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment?

Call (310) 990-5818 or email us at tutors4tech4la@gmail.com.  Let us know what kind of help you need, when you need it and we'll set it up.  You will hear back from us promptly.

Where will my session take place?

Anywhere you'd like. We can meet at your home, a local library, community center or coffee shop. We want the session to take place wherever you are the most comfortable.

How does the session work?

When we set up your session, we'll ask you where and when you'd like to meet, what kind of device you have and what you'd like to learn to do with it.  Our tutors are patient, kind and understanding.  This is your session.  Please don't hesitate to ask them to slow down, speak up, repeat things and show you step-by-step how something is done.  They'll be more than happy to write it down for you too.

What happens if I forget what I learned in my session?

Don't worry. It happens all the time.  That's why your tutor will email you a copy of the notes from your session.  It's also why we offer one week of FREE telephone follow up along with all of our sessions.

What's the best way to get started?

We recommend a 60-minute session to start.  A package of three (3)  sessions is a great way to get going and save money.  We've learned that once they get started, most people want to cover lots of different things.  We find its most effective to focus on a couple of key things in a session.  Follow up sessions serve as great refreshers for what you've already learned and enable you to add new items at each additional session.

Do you do screen sharing and remote visits?

We believe that the best way to learn is in person.  Screen sharing can be used as a way to follow up to remind you what was covered in a previous session and solve a quick problem. Please don't hesitate to give us a call  We're here to help you.

Do you offer gift certificates?
