ABOUT
We are a generation of 'digital immigrants'. Unlike our children who are 'digital natives',
we were born or brought up before the widespread use of digital technology.
Click, tap, swipe and drag are all foreign concepts to us. We didn't grow up with this stuff.
Now, we're being asked to completely change our mental wiring - and that's a big ask!
Who do we turn to for help? Our children. But they don't have the patience for us.
So, we decided to launch Tutors4Tech, a concierge service where friendly and patient tech tutors will come to your home and help you learn how to use and enjoy your computers, tablets, TVs, remotes and smart phones.
We are not a technology company. We are a people company. We understand why people struggle with new technology and our mission is to help bridge the gap.
With a combination of expertise, empathy, respect and patience our mission is to provide simple advice for every device.
THE TEAM
David Auerbach
Founder/CEO
David was inspired to create Tutors4Tech after seeing his own father struggle to adapt to the digital world. He woke up one day and realized he had become his dad's round-the-clock tech support - a role he never asked for or envisioned.
He quickly realized that his father wasn't alone. There are plenty of people who were born or grew up before the arrival of computers and smart phones that could probably use some help too - especially help that won't run out of patience.
Prior to founding Tutors4Tech, David enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment business, including 17 years as a senior executive at Warner Bros. where he helped launch iconic brands such as The Bachelor and TMZ.
